Community
Source Reception
Please
join your colleagues in the open source communities of Sakai, JA-SIG, DSpace,
Fedora, and Kuali. This reception will give you an opportunity to network
with friends from institutions that have joined these communities, to talk to
colleagues from schools that may be considering joining one or more of these
communities, and to learn more about activities under way. The executive
director from each community will be available to talk with attendees. Or,

“Integrating Your Enterprise With uPortal”
Institutions have
recognized the value of investing in portal technology to personalize
information for campus constituencies and create an enhanced sense of
community. More often now, schools are using uPortal to integrate
critical enterprise data and processes, providing a one-stop shop for
academic information and business processes. This is one of a series of
presentations that JASIG Commercial Affiliate Unicon will sponsor at
their exhibit booth throughout the conference.
